What Happened?
Snap (SNAP) stock is in focus after the company announced new partnerships with Nvidia, Amazon Web Services, and Salesforce to push its $2,195 Specs augmented reality glasses into the enterprise market.
CEO Evan Spiegel said the goal is helping people understand that “Specs is a computer, not a pair of smart glasses for taking photos.”
When Snap first unveiled Specs back in June, the company pitched the device mainly to everyday consumers rather than developers or businesses.
That’s notable because past AR and VR devices, like Microsoft’s HoloLens and Meta’s Quest headsets, never became mainstream hits.
Spiegel pointed to bulkiness as a major reason. He said Specs are lighter and better suited for practical business tasks, like helping field technicians view digital repair instructions while working on equipment.
Snap’s business has mostly grown through consumers so far, and this new push with Nvidia is meant to change that.
Spiegel said Nvidia’s open-source XR AI platform already has businesses building on top of it, and that partnering with Nvidia and Salesforce should make it easier for companies to plug into those AI tools through Specs.
Snap also announced a new consumer AI feature called Specs Intelligence, a digital assistant that works across the AR glasses, iPhones, and Mac computers.
Spiegel said pricing isn’t finalized yet, but it will include a free tier and paid options based on usage.

The enterprise push comes as Snap stock rides some real momentum.
- In the most recent quarter, revenue grew 19% year-over-year to $1.6 billion, while monthly active users approached the 1 billion mark at 971 million.
- Other revenue, which includes subscriptions like Snapchat+ and the new Lens+ AI tools, jumped 85% to $316 million.
- The company also posted its eighth straight quarter of positive free cash flow, at $121 million.

What the Market Is Telling Us About Snap Stock
The enterprise partnerships suggest Snap is trying to diversify Specs beyond a one-time consumer gadget purchase and into a recurring, business-facing platform, the kind of shift that could matter a lot for Snap stock’s longer-term growth story.
Teaming up with established players like Nvidia, AWS, and Salesforce gives Snap credibility it wouldn’t have on its own, since none of Snap’s past hardware bets carry an enterprise track record.
Spiegel also addressed the broader AI safety debate happening across the industry, saying “these are concerns that have been raised for a long time” and calling for a “thoughtful and international” regulatory response focused on actual rather than imagined harms.

For Snap stock, the real test will be whether this enterprise strategy can turn Specs from a $2,195 novelty into a genuine second growth engine, something investors have been watching closely as the company works to prove Specs can eventually rival its core advertising business.
