What Happened?
Nvidia (NVDA) is investing more capital into Europe’s AI sector. On Monday, at the Invest in Germany Summit in Berlin, it named four German startups it plans to back.
This is part of a nearly $10 billion plan to invest in companies, universities and research groups across Europe.
The four startups are Agile Robots, Avelios Medical, Mirelo and Reflex Aerospace.
- Agile Robots makes AI-powered robots.
- Avelios Medical builds hospital management software.
- Mirelo creates AI models that generate audio for videos.
- Reflex Aerospace designs and builds satellites.
- Nvidia did not say how much it will invest in each one.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said the country wants to lead in using AI across key industries, including manufacturing, machinery and cars.
He urged smaller businesses to use the data they already have. “Please open your doors for AI to make use of your data,” he said.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said AI will add to Germany’s industrial strengths and not replace them. Nvidia is also working with the German government’s “Industry 4.0 Platform.”
The government signed a joint declaration with Nvidia to advance AI models for industry.

Siemens also shared new AI tools built with Nvidia and said they could cut engineering work for preparing production by up to 85%. AI production planning could cut costs by as much as 20%.
Last week, Huang announced investments in four French startups and met President Emmanuel Macron. He is due to give a keynote in Berlin on Wednesday.

What the Market Is Telling Us About Nvidia Stock
The Europe push shows Nvidia wants to be part of AI buildouts well beyond the big U.S. cloud companies. As no dollar amounts were shared, it is hard to judge how much this moves the needle.
The bigger story for Nvidia stock is still the core business. In its latest quarter, Nvidia’s revenue hit $96 billion. Data center sales were $89 billion.
Management expects about 70% growth in fiscal 2028 and says supply is the limit.
Memory costs are rising fast, and Nvidia expects gross margin to dip to 71% to 72% in Q4 before settling at 72% to 73% in fiscal 2028.
Nvidia has also invested nearly $50 billion in AI labs. Management knows some people call this circular financing and says it sees it differently.

Shareholders still got paid. Nvidia returned a record $26 billion last quarter through buybacks and dividends.
So Nvidia stock is being driven by huge AI demand and tight supply. The German investments add to the story but are small next to the rest of the business.
Investors will look to Huang’s Berlin keynote and the next earnings report on November 17 for more clues on Nvidia stock.
