In the six months to October 13, CrowdStrike Holdings (CRWD) stock gained 160%, from about $100 in mid-April to a $261 close. On August 26, CrowdStrike reported a record $333 million in net new annual recurring revenue (ARR, the yearly value of its subscription contracts). In the days after, the stock moved from near $190 to the high $220s.

“The quarter was a sea change for CrowdStrike, and I see these dynamics continuing.” CEO George Kurtz said that on the fiscal Q2 earnings call, after reporting revenue up 26% to $1.47 billion and ending ARR of $5.84 billion. CFO Burt Podbere then raised the full-year forecast for net new ARR growth to about 34%, from 22.5% in the initial outlook.

CrowdStrike held its Fal.Con conference in Las Vegas in early September. It launched Guardian, a product that secures AI agents, and announced SafeMind, a family of cybersecurity models built on Nvidia’s Nemotron. At the September 2 investor briefing, Podbere moved two long-range goals up by a year each: $10 billion in ARR within fiscal 2030 and $20 billion within fiscal 2035.

The rest of the run came in smaller steps. Shares were trading in the $240s by mid-September. On September 25, a Bloomberg News report said the US Justice Department had closed its investigation of CrowdStrike deals. The stock finished September at $265.

October opened near the highs. On October 6, Reuters reported that the S&P 500 software and services index was at its highest level since November 2025. The report named CrowdStrike among cybersecurity stocks with triple-digit gains this year. A day later, CrowdStrike published a report on recent cyberattacks on South Korean banks. It said the suspect was likely a China-based 26-year-old who used a Chinese-developed AI agent and Anthropic’s Claude Code.

Measured by month-end closes, CrowdStrike stock went from $111 on April 30 to $191 on July 31, then to $265 on September 30 and $261 on October 13. The August report and the new Fal.Con targets came in the middle of that climb.
