What Happened?

Cerebras Systems (CBRS) stock is in focus today after the company’s latest results showed just how big its growth story has become.

Cerebras Systems stock is backed by a $25.4 billion order backlog, most of it tied to a multi-year deal with OpenAI. That single relationship is now a major driver of Cerebras Systems stock, though CEO Andrew Feldman noted on the earnings call that other customers, like AWS, will make up a bigger share of revenue over time.

The company is also leaning hard into international growth. A big chunk of revenue, $443.5 million, already comes from Europe, the Middle East and Africa, nearly double the $236.6 million generated in the U.S. Cerebras has data centers either live or under contract in France, Finland, and Norway, part of a broader plan to add capacity outside North America.

Beyond the European build-out, Cerebras announced new partnerships with AWS and AMD.

The AWS deal will let customers access Cerebras’ fast inference technology through Amazon’s Bedrock platform starting in Q1 2027.

The AMD partnership pairs AMD’s Helios racks with Cerebras systems to boost throughput without slowing down speed, a combination management says makes each data center more profitable.

What the Market Is Telling Us About Cerebras Systems Stock

Investors seem to like what they’re seeing. Cerebras Systems stock is being rewarded for a backlog that gives the company years of visibility into future revenue, something rare for a company still posting operating losses.

The $25.4 billion in RPO shows large customers are willing to commit early, which reduces some of the uncertainty around Cerebras’ path to profitability.

The market also appears to be reading the European revenue split as a sign that Cerebras Systems stock isn’t just an OpenAI story. With EMEA revenue already outpacing the U.S., the company has proven it can win business outside its home market.

That geographic diversification, paired with new hyperscaler and chipmaker partnerships, is likely feeding today’s optimism.

Still, the company remains loss-making, and a large portion of its revenue and backlog is concentrated in a small number of customers.

That concentration risk is worth watching even as Cerebras Systems stock rides today’s positive momentum.
